My preferred equipment:: Stock horn w/minor improvements, Modified/Custom Horn

My most memorable trumpet experience:: Meeting Q and giving him my cd and meeting Maynard.

Personal trumpet aspiration:: play and record with as many hard grooving rythmn sections as possible

About Me:: I am addicted to the groove. I have gone to Marine Corps boot camp for a steady paid trumpet gig and even got a honorable discharge after 4 years. I founded the live art sight and sound sanctuary in Dallas. A place where musicians came after gigs to play and record what they wanted to play. It was built by musicians without girlfriends. And housed hurricane musician refugees. I am still playing at 44. Hope I never have to stop.

Interests:: Playing listening writing and floating down the San Marcos river.

Heroes:: Jesus,my dad, Miles,Dizzy, Freddie Hubbard, Lee Morgan,Maynard,Richard Blake,Coltrane, Wayne Shorter, Jason Davis,Ron Carter,Oscar Peterson, Bo Owens,Roger Staubach , and Tom Landry.
